In 2019 two albums with Carl Petersson will be released. One with largely unknown piano music by Ludwig van Beethoven, among other the composers own  transcription of his "Battle Symphony" for piano and two cannons! The other album will  contain  Friedrich Burgmüllers  etudes Op.100 & 109.

2016 saw the Canadian and U.S. premiere of the "Concerto Sopra Grieg" by Helge Evju with performances together with Kerry Stratton's Toronto Concert Orchestra at the Liberty Grand in Toronto and the Buffalo Philharmonic with JoAnn Falletta conducting.
Meantime Carl was invited to give masterclasses and lectures at University of Toronto and the New England Conservatory in Boston.

The album with Contemporary Danish Piano Music was chosen as the best classical pick in the German "Piano News" magazine. It continues to produce great media attention around the world. 

Carl will be performing and speaking at the 2016 edition of the Canadian festival "Music and Beyond" with performances at, among other places, the National Arts Gallery in Ottawa.

Carl Petersson has been invited to perform eight concerts in China during an extensive tour in 2015. Carl will among other perform in Beijing, Shanghai, and Zongshan. During the tour Petersson will also visit universities to teach, lecture and have master classes.

Carl has teamed up with the Swedish music organisation Musik i Syd (Music in the South). Carl will during all his concerts in Sweden and abroad promote the organization in different ways.

Rok 2014 přinese řadu nových zajímavých příležitostí a koncertních míst, kterými jsou  například islandský Nordic House of Reykjavik, kde Carl vystoupí v září. Carl byl také pozván, aby přednášel, vyučoval hru na klavír a koncertoval na Grumo Music Festival v Itálii či Nordic Woodwind Encounter ve Švédsku.

Together with Canadian conductor Kerry Stratton, Carl will record the revision made by Percy Grainger of Edvard Griegs famous piano concerto along with finished version of Griegs unfinished second piano concerto made by Norwegian composer Helge Evju. The recording project is set to 2-4 of march 2014 with the Czech Radio Symphony Orchestra SOČR in Prague.
